India conducted air strikes on terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) camps across the LoC in Pakistan. Twelve Indian Air Force (IAF) planes dropped 1,000 kilograms of explosives. Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale had claimed that JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commander and Jihadis were killed in the strike on 26 February.
India has claimed that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) violated the Indian airspace and one of their jets was shot down on 27 February.
The PAF also claimed that two IAF jets have been shot down and an Indian pilot arrested. However, the IAF have refuted these claims made by the PAF, say media reports.
