Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who famously played boxing champion MC Mary Kom in a biopic, is likely to join the Super Boxing League (SBL) as the co-owner of the Northeast franchise, informed sources have said.

Talks are at the final stage and we are very keen on having Priyanka on board. She is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood and her association with boxing will help us create the much-needed hype for Super Boxing League. We will soon make an official announcement for the same.

The studio just announced the launch of two newcomers - Aadar Jain and Anya Singh, and predictably plastered the two all over social media.

BUT they also thought it would be a good idea to highlight the fact that Aadar comes packed with the greatness of the ‘Kapoor’ genes.

3. Will Salman Khan Compensate Distributors for ‘Tubelight’ Loss?

At a public event after the release of Tubelight, Salman Khan was asked if he  was worried about the subdued response to his new release.

He stared back at the journalist grinned and stretched his arms saying, “Do I look worried?”

He then went on to explain why the film took a weak opening. “People expected a  different film. An Eid film with singing dancing. …Bhai ko rotenahin dekhna (they don’t want to see me cry)”.

Salman was confident that the film would do well. But trade experts say the film may lose up to Rs 60-65 crores.

Priyanka Chopra is one of the newest members the Academy of Motion Picture of Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and the actress has praised the ongoing push for racial and gender equality.

5. ‘Spider-Man’ Tom Holland Goes Desi With ‘Eespiderman, Eespiderman’

Tom Holland got the lyrics of Hindi song Eespiderman, eespiderman, tune churaya mere dil ka chain right, and wouldn't mind playing the role of the superhero in an Indian film. But the English actor says he would like to see an Indian actor in the desi version of the hit Hollywood franchise.

During a conversation with comedian Sahil Shah, Holland expressed his desire to see an Indian Spider-Man. The video was released on Tuesday by Comic Con India crew, who attended Sony India's Spider-Man: Homecoming media event in Singapore last month, read a statement.
