After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denomination notes, cinema hall chain PVR Cinemas has decided not to charge convenience fee on usage of a debit or credit card for purchase of tickets for Bollywood film Rock On!! 2.
Actor Farhan Akhtar, who will be seen in Rock On!! 2, welcomed the move and took to Twitter to share the news.
Paytm has also availed schemes to get fans of Rock On!! 2 in the theatre.
The film is the second instalment of the Rock On!! franchise and also stars Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor. It is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
