In what appears to be a terrific news for cinephiles, Tony Award winner Elton John will be penning a musical rendition of The Devil Wears Prada.
Though the premiere date has not been announced, in a statement by Elton John, he said:
I can’t wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture.
The Devil Wears Prada (2003) is a best-selling novel by Lauren Weisberger, following which a film of the same name was released in 2006, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
