A group of elephants entered a town in West Bengal, India, wreaking havoc and injuring six people. Three animals, a tusker, a female elephant and a calf, were first spotted near the town’s railway station in the wee hours of Thursday.

The jumbos raided a platform and a goods train stationed at platform. The presence of the angry jumbos forced local authorities to vacate the entire station area. Two local trains had to be diverted in view of the jumbo attack. Eyewitnesses said the elephants crushed two cars in a nearby parking lot as if they were ‘toys’.
