West Bengal Govt Declassifies 64 Netaji Files

The West Bengal govt today declassified 64 Netaji files; family appeals Centre to release files in their possession.

The West Bengal govt on Friday declassified 64 Netaji files, in possession with the Kolkata Police an West Bengal Police. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said her government had taken the first step and appealed to the Central government to release files in their possession as well.

Netaji’s family also urged the Central government to make the Indian freedom fighter’s files public. They also said that they would approach foreign countries like China and Japan to release Netaji files with them.
