Two infiltration bids were made from across the border, killing 10 terrorists and one Jawan on Tuesday, as Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and fired at Indian positions. Despite the casualties both of them were foiled by the Indian army.

During the encounter, Pakistan provided covering fire to engage the Indian Army, while the militants attempted to recover bodies of the killed terrorists, according to reports.
