Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in London today for his first visit to the United Kingdom since he assumed office. After holding bilateral talks with his British counterpart David Cameron, the two heads of state gave a joint statement.
In the joint statement, David Cameron said India and UK enterprises have inked deals worth 9 billion pounds. He also said that UK backs India’s bid for a permanent membership in UNSC.
