Amid controversies over chanting “Om”, backlash from fringe groups, and criticism for propagating the Hindutva agenda, the second leg of International Yoga Day was celebrated in the country on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning arrived at Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex to kickstart the celebrations, while we at The Quint, also joined in. Or atleast, tried to. Very badly.

Thousands of office-goers crowded the stations which was a stampede hazard. Protests broke out in Diva station near Thane while Sandhurst road, Masjid and Sion reported submerged tracks.
