Brexit: UK Votes To Exit EU, Cameron Quits

Britain has voted to leave the European Union (EU), with the Leave campaign securing around 51.8 percent of the vote. British Prime Minister David Cameron has resigned after the referendum results, even as the Pound hit a 31-year low. The EU is in shock. No member state has ever left the Union and it is now entering uncharted territory. Rs 45 lakh crore has been knocked off from Indian markets.

China Not Alone: At Least 5 Other Countries Oppose India’s NSG Bid

India’s application for a Nuclear Suppliers’ Group (NSG) membership was taken up at the 48-nation bloc’s special session in Seoul on Thursday night. PM Modi failed to bring China on board and with Switzerland’s u-turn, no consensus was reached. Several countries, including Brazil, Austria, New Zealand, Ireland and Turkey, opposed India’s induction into the NSG, citing India’s non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) status as the reason.
