Addressing a gathering of thousands, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the farmers to join the ‘Kisan Beema Yojana’ in Bargarh, Odisha.
Modi emphasized on honey production, poultry farm, fish farming and milk farming. He lauded the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana and said that the government is determined to double the income of farmers by 2022, when India will mark 75 years of Independence.
