The Allahabad High Court has acquitted Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, parents of Aarushi Talwar, in the 2008 Double murder case. The High Court struck down a CBI court order convicting them for the murder of their daughter, Aarushi, and domestic help, Hemraj, in 2013.
Friends and Neighbours of the Talwar Family hailed the court’s verdict, expressing happiness and support for Nupur and Rajesh Talwar who have faced years of incarceration.
The road ahead would be, they come home after 4 years of being incarcerated. Pick up the thread and mourn the loss of their child and try to lead a normal life. It’s going to be very difficult for them but we are all there to support them and be with them.Masooma Ranalvi, Family friend
