Addressing farmers at Shahanshahpur in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said governance was not about politics or winning elections, but was about the wellbeing of the nation.
He said that a clean India was a healthier India. The Prime Minister added that ‘Swachhata’ has to become’'Swabhav’ and “it is our collective responsibility to keep our nation clean.”
Modi said Swachhata was puja for him and that cleanliness was a way to serve the poor in India.
He lauded the Yogi government for working towards ensuring that all homes in the state had electricity.
