Dr Santosh Kumar, Chief medical Officer, has denied appointing minor children for giving polio drops to others kids as reported by ANI. The CMO also promised to probe into the matter.

The Pulse Polio drive has started yesterday itself. Polio booths have been set up at places and we are giving drops to children. There is no provision to appoint minor children for this job. Some kids can be volunteers, so that they can call others to take polio drops. We haven’t appointed any kids, but if this has happened we will probe the matter.
