Many kids said to ANI that they were below the age of 15, and each one had given polio drops to more than 40 children.
Dr Santosh Kumar, Chief medical Officer, has denied appointing minor children for giving polio drops to others kids as reported by ANI. The CMO also promised to probe into the matter.
The Pulse Polio drive has started yesterday itself. Polio booths have been set up at places and we are giving drops to children. There is no provision to appoint minor children for this job.
