Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to hospital in the early hours of Saturday after he complained of respiratory problems.
Kumar was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra around 2.30 am, hospital sources said. The actor’s condition is said to be stable.
Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital who is treating him said the thespian has a pneumonia patch in his lungs and some sepsis. He added that the common line of treatment has begun and the team of doctors are hopeful that he does not need treatment in the ICU.
