The cast and crew of Udta Punjab took a huge sigh of relief after the movie was successfully released at the box office on Friday. The movie went through a tough legal battle against CBFC in the week prior to its release.
Adding to their woes, the censor copy of the film was leaked 48 hours before the actual release was scheduled. However, when the movie received favourable reviews on the opening day and a decent opening, the filmmakers and actors were thrilled with joy.
