BSF Crash: Distraught Family Members Meet Rajnath, Want Answers

The families of those who died in Tuesday’s BSF airplane crash in the capital were met by Home Minister Rajnath Singh today.

Some distraught family members said the aircraft was old and should not have been declared airworthy, even as reports emerged that the pilots of the ill-fated aircraft did all they could to bring it down safely with as little damage as possible to those on the ground.

BSF officers on the other hand maintained that at 20 years, the aircraft was not old and was well-maintained.
