A hoarding put up by BJP leader Vijay Goel at his residence created a controversy in the national capital today as the poster makes a comparison between Mahatma Gandhi and PM Narendra Modi.
The Delhi BJP leader has called the Prime Minister, a saint from Sabarmati, equating him and his deeds to the Mahatma.
The Congress slammed the comparison and asked Vijay Goel to get some lessons in history before making such comparisons.
In his defence, Goel claimed that Modi has brought laurels to the country unlike anybody else in the last 60 years and is worthy of being compared to Gandhi in terms of their respective contributions towards the nation.
