Voting has begun today in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections for 49 constituencies. A total of 1.35 crore voters are eligible to vote in this direct contest between BJP-led NDA and the Grand Alliance. Voter turnout stands at 49 per cent till 3 pm. Polling was sealed off in the Naxal-affected Jamui at 3 pm.
