So, we can finally say that Apple CEO Tim Cook has seen almost everything India has to offer. He is yet to visit the Taj Mahal, but we are sure Mr Cook will take care of that. But before continuing on the tourist route he gave the Apple India team a big scare when visited an Apple Store in the Delhi-NCR region this week.

According to reports, Cook was there to check up on allegations that his stores in India were selling fake products. For a second, those rumours turned out to be true when Cook lost his cool when he came across a sketchy iPhone cover.

Thankfully for the folks at Apple India, turned out to be a false alarm.

The report adds that Cook felt the colour and design of the iPhone cover did not match up to what the company retails at its stores in other markers.

It’s quite funny to talk about fake iPhone covers in a market like India. Just like the cost of the iPhone, buying an iPhone cover from an Apple Store doesn’t come cheap.

So, Mr Cook, it goes without saying that while fake iPhone covers may not be selling in your Apple Stores, they are going like hotcakes everywhere else (even on the streets).

I know we may seem cheap, but we are like that only.
