For the last few months, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has been one of the most talked-about devices. With all the rumours and leaks, it doesn’t take much to guess that the launch of the device is being anticipated with bated breath. On Thursday, 9 August, the wait for Samsung’s flagship phone would finally be over as the South Korean tech giant is slated to launch it at their ‘Unpacked’ event.
The event is happening in New York at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn at 11 am EST (8:30 pm IST) and will see the official unveil of the Note 9 and there is an option for watching it online, either on the Samsung website or on their social media pages.

In a recent leak, Samsung put out the pre-order announcement on its website much before the launch.
According to what we know so far, the phone will come with options of up to 512GB storage and will carry a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
Sporting Samsung’s Super AMOLED display with high-quality resolution, the Galaxy Note 9’s screen should be brighter as well as high on contrast.
Reports highlight that the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 9 could support Bluetooth (which means packing a battery). This could change the use-case of the S Pen, putting it in the same bracket as the Apple Pencil or Microsoft’s Surface Pen.
