No More Barrage of Videos

Google has integrated a ‘mute tab’ feature on its Chrome web browser which ensures that users can decide what video content they want to watch. The mute option is automatically updated to your existing Chrome version, so you don’t need to make the effort to get it for your PC.

Video content is highly regarded as the next stage in the evolution for the media industry, which means a lot of videos appear in our daily lives across various platforms. The last thing users want is to watch each and every video thrown their way via social networking platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

For those unaware, you can mute tabs by right-clicking on the particular tab and choosing the ‘mute tab’ option.

Chrome is undoubtedly one of the most popular web browsers amongst users which is why it is easy to understand Google’s mute-tab move. One can expect that other big names like Mozilla and even Microsoft will add similar features to their respective web-browsers.
