For the second time in a week, popular social networking site Facebook was down. Users faced Facebook outage for about 15 to 20 minutes close to 1 am (IST) before services resumed.
Last time Facebook went down on September 25 and it was because it tried to upload a 360-degree video. The new feature requires relatively complex processes and it is likely that this caused the glitch.
A quick look at Google Trends reveals the the two earlier points of time in the past 30 days when users were searching Google for “Is Facebook down?”
Twitter, predictably, had some fun with #FacebookDown.
