The registration of diesel vehicles with engines over 2000cc has been banned by the Supreme Court in Delhi from 1 January 2016 to 31 March 2016. The decision comes after the announcement of the odd-even plan that will run for 15 days starting 1 January.
When, we at The Quint, tried to understand the nuances of these decisions, we found ourselves confused. Every single time we tried. Everyone is confused – legal experts, auto dealers and, maybe, even the Chief Minister himself.
No wonder people are at their creative best on social media platforms.
Mr Arpit here, aka Appy_Fizzz, is a single man living in the polluted city of Delhi and clearly a wiseguy. Except, he lost it with the ‘fair’ bit.
Aha! The good ol’ 69 flip – the fact that the numbers look like each other when flipped, of course. That’s what we meant. What did you think?
And if you’re not a big fan of the 69 illusion, here’s the solution for you.
Jokes apart, some of us are feeling a bit like this.
