Leicester City’s fantasy success story embarked on its finale on Monday when they were crowned the champions of the Premier League, after Tottenham drew 2-2 with Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

No one could imagine that last season they needed a torrid winning streak towards the end to avoid being relegated back to the second division. No one could image that the team crowned Premier League champions were 5000-1 favourites for the title at the start of the season.

But then this is football. And the unimaginable has a way of seeping into the storyline.
