India’s most expensive player in the Hero Hockey India League (HIL) auctions said he is excited to play with the world’s best hockey player - Australia’s Jamie Dwyer for the UP Wizards.
Akashdeep said he never thought that he would be India’s costliest player in the HIL auctions. The striker added that he is looking forward to learning from the UP Wizards’ technical director and former Indian hockey player Dhanraj Pillay.
