- Indian women athlete, Sudha Singh was hospitalised on Tuesday after she returned home from a not-so-successful campaign at Rio Olympics. Sudha was earlier feared to have zika virus, but later she tested negative for the disease.
- Still kept under care, Sudha has tested positive for swine flu. She will now be kept under isolation for seven days until her condition gets back to normal.
- Sudha stood 30th in the 3000m steeplechase event at Rio Olympics and thus couldn’t qualify for the finals.
