Ali was the most expensive bowler in the clash, handing over 84 runs in nine overs to the Indian team. He took only one wicket, but a very important one, that of ‘Hitman’ Rohit Sharma.

In the rain-flecked game at Old Trafford, India scored a massive 336 against Pakistan. India are one of the two unbeaten teams in the ongoing World Cup, the other being New Zealand.

With 7 points, India ranks fourth on the points table and Pakistan is at the penultimate position with 3 points.

Our Men in Blue will tackle Afghanistan at Southampton on Saturday, 22 June. Afghanistan is behind all the 10 teams with no victories this World Cup.
