Sachin Tendulkar hit out at Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi after he tweeted about the “appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.”
The ‘Master Blaster’ did not mince his words, stating bluntly that India has capable people to manage and run the country, and that “no outsider needs to know or tell us what we need to do.”

Tendulkar wasn’t the first Indian cricketer to hit out at Afridi. Former cricketer and Indian captain Kapil Dev was dismissive about his tweet, asking, “who is he?”

However, skipper Virat Kohli remained diplomatic while responding to the controversy.
As an Indian, you want to express what is best for your nation and my interests are always for the benefit of our nation. If anything opposes it, I would never support it for sure.
