In a close shave, former Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho escaped unhurt after a traffic pole fell in front of his car in Kozhikode on Monday morning.
The Brazilian star was returning from a function in Nadakkavu school when the incident occurred on Kannur road.
A YouTube video which has captured the incident, shows a traffic pole come crashing down on the road in front of Ronaldinho’s car. Following this, a few policemen and others remove the pole.
Ronaldinho arrived in Kozhikode on Sunday to inaugurate the Sait Nagjee Cup football tournament commencing from February 5.
The former Barcelona and AC Milan player is the brand ambassador of the Nagjee International Football Club tournament.
