1. Gambhir Returns As India Play Third Test Against New Zealand
Indian skipper Virat Kohli confirmed on Friday that seasoned opening batsman Gautam Gambhir will return to the playing eleven in India’s inconsequential third test against New Zealand. Indore will be hosting its debut test match, which is the last game in the three-match test series against New Zealand.
Karnataka rookie batsman Karun Nair was named as a replacement for Dhawan, but with Gambhir already warming the bench during the second match, Kohli opted to go for a regular opener.
In the bowling department, India will miss the services of medium pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
