1. Djokovic Beats Federer to Win Third Wimbledon Crown
World number one Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer for the second successive year in the Wimbledon final to capture his third title at the All England Club with a 7-6(1) 6-7(10) 6-4 6-3 win on Sunday.
The Serbian world number one became the first man since 2007 to retain the Wimbledon men’s title and in the process took his grand slam tally to nine.

2. At 42, Leander Paes Wins Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Title
Leander Paes continues to defy age, form and competition.
At 42, Indian tennis’ most successful star partnered Martina Hingis to win his 18th Grand Slam title on Sunday. The mixed doubles trophy coming with a surprisingly easy 6-1, 6-1 victory over Alexander Peya and Timea Babos.
The victory took just 40 minutes to complete and it was Paes’ eighth mixed doubles title and second with Hingis. They had won the Australian Open earlier this year.

3. Delhi Teen Sumit Nagal Wins Wimbledon Boys Doubles Title
Sumit Nagal entered the history books as only sixth Indian to win a Grand Slam junior title after winning the boys doubles trophy on Sunday.
17-year-old Nagal and his eighth seed Vietnamese partner Nam Hoang Ly overcame the fourth seeded pair of Reilly Opelka and Akira Santillan 7 -6(4) 6-4 in the title clash that lasted 63 minutes.

4. Rahane’s India Bowl Zimbabwe Out for 209, Win ODI Series 2-0
Indian openers Ajinkya Rahane and Murali Vijay put on a 112-run opening stand before Bhuvneshwar Kumar with his spell of 4/33 wrapped things up for India in the second ODI against Bangladesh.
Zimbabwe, chasing a target of 272, ultimately falling short by 62 runs and in the process also losing the three match ODI series 2-0.

5. Bangladesh Beat South Africa, Level Series 1-1
Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah struck half-centuries after Bangladesh dismissed South Africa for 162, crushing the Proteas by seven wickets in the second ODI to tie the three-match ODI series.
Soumya hit a stroke-filled unbeaten 88 while Mahmudullah made 50 as Bangladesh raced to 167-3 with more than 22 overs in hand.
Earlier the home team made swift work of the visitors, bowling them out for 162 runs in 46 overs. Mustafizur Rahman and Nasser Hossian finishing with three wickets each.
6. Man City Agree to sign Sterling From Liverpool - Reports
Manchester City have agreed a 49 million pounds ($76.07 million)deal to sign England winger Raheem Sterling from Premier League rivals Liverpool, British media reported on Sunday.
The 20-year-old did not fly out with Liverpool for their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia after being named in the squad.City had two bids for Sterling rejected last month after he turned down a pay increase to stay at the Anfield club.
