South African cricket legend Jacques Kallis is apparently embarrassed to call himself a South African these days. The former Proteas all-rounder tweeted his feelings, reacting to the recent ban on Cricket South Africa (CSA) by the Government for non-fulfillment of the Transformation report.
His rant, however, did not really yield good reactions from South African fans as many took to the micro-blogging site to express their displeasure over the remarks made by the former cricketer. Some even trolled him for the same. Many assumed Kallis stand to be ‘anti-transformation’.
Upset with the reactions, Kallis on Tuesday defended his stand and in fact clarified his position when he said that he was against “political bullying” and not “anti-transformation”.
