Yuvraj Singh had to wait till the second round of bidding in IPL 2019 auction, to find a taker.

Yuvraj has been the most expensive player in IPL’s history, not once, but twice: Royal Challengers Bangalore paid Rs 14 crore in 2014 and the Delhi Daredevils Rs 16 crore (2015).

Last season, the southpaw was bought by Kings XI Punjab at Rs 2 crore, but the player failed to impress, scoring a mere 65 runs in 8 outings at a strike rate of 89.04

Arguably India's first T20 star, Yuvraj is best remembered for hitting six sixes in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Mumbai Indians will become Yuvraj’s sixth team in the IPL history. So far, he has represented Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore and the now defunct, Pune Warriors.
