West Indies skipper Darren Sammy minced no words in calling out his home cricket board for their lack of support to the team, after they lifted the 2016 World T20 trophy on Sunday in Kolkata.

However, two hours later, the 32-year-old posted this video on Facebook, explaining why he felt the need to use the post-match interview to express his views.

It was quite emotional for me. One thing about me, I always speak from my heart. I know there will be backlash, I may be victimised. But it is about time somebody see real, true West Indians. People are painting us as money grabbing cricketers .
