It is well known that Greg Chappell’s stint as coach for the Indian cricket team has been riddled with controversy. Nine years after his collaboration with the Indian team ended, Virender Sehwag has confessed that Chappell was ‘a failure’; he failed to manage the cricketers in the Indian team.

Take a look at his face in this interview, when Greg Chappell is mentioned. We think it’s priceless.

In the interview, Sehwag added that while he did not doubt Chappell’s knowledge and expertise, he candidly admitted that he didn’t think at all highly of his ability to manage players as individuals. He said that if he had to rate the ex-coach solely on his ability to manage Virender Sehwag, the individual and the cricketer, he would give him “zero”.

The former Indian opening batsman is known for telling it like it is, constantly surprising fans and the media with his unique responses.

Sehwag, who retired from all forms of international cricket in 2015, will be seen in the Hindi commentary box during the ICC World T20, which will begin on Monday, March 15.
