The Kolkata Knight Riders made it to this IPL’s qualifier 2 after beating the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in Bengaluru on Wednesday. They will play against Mumbai Indians in the same venue on Friday.

After Kolkata restricted SRH to 128/7, rain descended on the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and the match was stopped for more than three hours.

Once the it stopped raining and the ground was dried, the target via D/L method set at 48 runs for KKR, which they had to chase in 6 overs.
