India’s chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav has clarified on social media that he did not give any “inappropriate statement about anyone” and that he has utmost respect for India’s former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Kuldeep Yadav recently posted a story which read, “Here we go for another made up controversies by our media who loves to make tangy rumours for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is totally false. I didn’t give any inappropriate statement about anyone. #Much respect Mahi bhai.”
A twitter user posted the screenshot of Kuldeep’s story.
After a disastrous IPL season, things have gotten even worse for India’s chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav.
The 24-year-old was unable to leave a mark in IPL 2019 as he took only four wickets in nine games for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Recently at the CEAT Awards Kuldeep received the Outstanding Performer Of The Year Award. However, the Kanpur-born bowler was in the news for all the wrong reasons.
When asked about MS Dhoni’s tips from behind the stumps and how often do they work for him and Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep said, “There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him. Zyada baat nahi karte woh (he doesn’t speak much). He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something.”
As soon as the video went viral on social media, Kuldeep was trolled left, right and centre by Dhoni fans.
There were some who came to the rescue of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ spinner.
Kuldeep is part of India’s 15 member squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 and will be a key aspect of Indian bowling attack alongside spin partner, Yuzvendra Chahal.
