Misty Lee Wilke of Pheonix, Arizona ran over her boyfriend with her Mustang after he told her he was HIV positive, reported the Daily Mail.
The incident took place on 29 April but the shocking CCTV footage was released on 5 June and is now with the police for further investigation.
The 43-year-old rammed her car into her boyfriend while he was cycling. He sustained injuries to his vertebrae and his skull. Two bystanders attempted to help him after the attack.
In the video, the man can be seen getting up after being hit only to stumble into someone’s lawn a few feet away. Thirty-minutes after the incident, she called the police to let them know about it, who later found a small cut on her arm.
The altercation was caught by BlueHorse solutions who installed the CCTV cameras.
Wilke said that prior to the hit-and-run, her boyfriend told her he was HIV positive and then laughed. He then took out a pocketknife and cut her.
She was arrested following the incident and faces charges of attempting to commit second-degree murder, leaving the scene, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police also found traces of the victims blood and hair on the hood of Wilke’s car.
