- Six people died when a small private plane crashed at the Shannon Airport in Fredericksburg, in the US state of Virginia on Friday.
- According to the state police, the plane was attempting to land but aborted and tried to take off again. This resulted in the plane to go off runway and land in a tree line, immediately catching fire.
- Rescue workers recovered all six bodies from the burned wreckage. Authorities are yet to disclose the identities of the victims, but have revealed they are not from Virginia.
