A 57-year-old woman died and many were injured in a pile up more than 25 cars on Yamuna Expressway due to dense fog on Sunday morning, reports Times of India. All the vehicles were damaged in the accident which took place 27km from zero point on Greater Noida to Agra carriageway.
A toll operator company official, requesting anonymity said that incident occurred around 8 am.
The OfficialIt was zero visibility and despite of it, some vehicles were speeding. The pile-up occurred after a Honda City car rammed into a slow moving truck. Following other vehicles also piled up. Our team quickly respond and conducted rescue operation. We immediately informed the cops too.
