The shocking video of a 4-year-old boy being encouraged to consume alcohol by a gang of youngsters in Tiruvannamalai has gone viral on social media.
According to a report in The New Indian Express, the video was circulated on WhatsApp and social media websites like Facebook. In the video, a group of youth are seen asking the boy to drink what appears to be beer from a plastic cup. They also egg him on to eat nuts from a plastic bag.
Tiruvannamalai police has been quick to act on this shocking incident and have already arrested two men who have been spotted in the clip.
Incidentally, one of the accused is said to be the uncle of the boy. According to The New Indian Express report, the accused had gone to play cricket with his friends and taken the little boy along.
The two accused have reportedly told the police that the incident occurred on June 30.
