In a gruesome crime, a severed head of a 17-year-old boy was thrown into the Reddichavady police station in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu on 10 May.
CCTV visuals from the police station show two men riding a motorcycle stopping in front of the Reddichavadi police station in Cuddalore, throwing the severed head and then riding away. The incident took place at around 8 pm on Wednesday..
Police say that the boy was allegedly beheaded by three men in neighbouring Puducherry on Wednesday.
Puducherry police say that the victim identified as Swethan was allegedly murdered by his friends. Three persons in the age group of 20-24 years were arrested in connection with the incident. The accused have been identified as Vinod Kumar, Panjamathi and Suziraj.
While the case is still being investigated, the Puducherry police say that Swethan was murdered in Bahour, with his torso found in the taluk. A post-mortem will be carried out in the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute.
