Government Hikes Subsidised LPG by Rs 1.93 Per Cylinder

This price hike comes in the wake of a fall in prices of petroleum and diesel in the country.

  • Subsidised LPG price was hiked by Rs 1.93 per cylinder on Monday.

  • This hike follows a price cut in petrol by Rs 1.42/litre, and in diesel by Rs 2.01.

  • The movement of prices in the international oil market and Rupee-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes, Indian Oil Corporation added.
