Asiya Andrabi Booked for Hoisting Pak Flag in Srinagar

An FIR has been registered against Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Asiya Andrabi for hoisting the Pakistan flag on its national day in Srinagar, reports CNN-IBN.

Asiya is the chief of the Dukhtaran-e- Millat (Daughters of the Nation) women’s wing which is associated with the Hurriyat. She had hoisted the Pakistan flag on Pak Day in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar.

The Times of India quotes an unnamed police source saying that a case has been registered against the Separatist leader.

A case has been registered against Andrabi at Nowhatta Police station under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities

In an interview broadcast on Times Now, Asiya says that members of Dukhtaran-e-Millat held celebrations on Pakistan National Day at all district headquarters and the members of her group hoisted the flag in a function presided by her in Srinagar.
