1. Ola Driver Records Girl in Delhi

For Delhi girl Priyanka, her Ola experience turned into a nightmare after she caught the driver recording her on his phone.

She then narrated the incident on Ola’s Facebook page, as a response to which, the cab service suspended the driver and apologised for the “bad experience.”

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with people sharing their own stories of horror while travelling in Ola cabs.

2. Iraqi Woman Allegedly Molested by Hospital Staff in Gurugram

An Iraqi woman who was admitted to Fortis Memorial Hospital, Gurugram, two months ago, on Tuesday alleged that she was molested by the hospital staff.

The police lodged a complaint under Section 354A (sexual harassment) of the IPC.

Acting on the complaint, an FIR has been registered and an investigation is on. However, the accused has not been identified yet.

3. Gang of Seven Romanians Held for Theft in Faridabad

A gang of seven Romanian nationals allegedly involved in thefts across the country was busted in Faridabad on Tuesday. The suspects were operating from a Paharganj hotel in New Delhi.

Their modus operandi was simple – on the pretext of purchasing items from a shop, they would distract the owner, and then proceed to steal valuables.

4. 23-Year-Old Delhi School Teacher Found Murdered in UP

A 23-year-old school teacher was found murdered near a canal in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

The woman, identified as Naina, went missing from her home in Delhi on Saturday.

The police suspect the involvement of her family in the murder, since her parents and brother have also been missing since Saturday.

5. Man Held for Kidnapping and Raping Minor in Bhiwandi

A 35-year old man was arrested in Bhiwandi on Wednesday morning for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 5-year old.

The accused, identified as Ramesh Kaitham, kidnapped the girl near her house when she had gone out to the market.

The girl returned home and narrated the entire incident to her parents who then lodged a case with local Bhiwandi city police.

6. Two Motorcycle-Borne Men Kidnap Child in Agra

Two men on a motorcycle were caught on camera on Tuesday kidnapping a child after carefully planning the crime.

The child was later rescued by the police and an investigation into the case has been initiated.

7. Teenaged Girl in Delhi Sexually Harassed by Cop

A teenage girl in Delhi was allegedly sexually harassed by a Delhi Police constable, police said on Tuesday.

The girl, Sangeeta, then attempted suicide by consuming poison. The girl was admitted to a hospital in a serious condition by her parents, police added.

8. Mother Sells Newborn for Rs 7,000 in Jharkhand

A mother of five, identified as Dulali Devi (40), allegedly “sold” her newborn daughter for Rs 7,000 to a childless woman at Patliputra Medical College (PMCH) in Dhanbad, Jharkhand on Tuesday.

While the Child Welfare Committee in Delhi intervened to reunite the child with the mother, PMCH has set up an inquiry committee to probe into the case.

9. Cop, Hacker Among Four Held for Selling Call Details

A Rajasthan Police sub-inspector, a hacker who worked for Jaipur Police and two private detectives were arrested on Tuesday for illegally accessing cell phone call detail records (CDR).

The four reportedly confessed to have accessed at least 2,000 CDRs in the past six months.
