Calling it a “staggering survey by any stretch”, the website goes ahead to claim:

No opinion survey conducted in India, on such policy or political issues, even comes close to sampling so many responses.

It further stated:

We request the citizens to continue to actively participate, have their voices heard directly and be part of the change... Prime Minister is personally getting regular reports on the suggestions and ideas coming from the survey.

The ‘salient points’ of the survey results offer another set of numbers, which include a four-star rating to government’s attempts to fight black money and a whopping 92 percent, which rate the government as ‘good’ or ‘very good’.

But Congress is Not Convinced

The Congress responded to the results and called them “manufactured” and “pre-fabricated”.

A trumped-up survey, manufactured questions and pre-fabricated answers by blind bhakts. Who cares for pain of common Indian?

Party spokesperson Randeep Surjwala made these comments on Twitter.

Surjwala said even after 13 days since the announcement of the decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, people in towns and villages continue to face severe cash crunch.

Attacking the Modi government over cross-border firing by Pakistani troops, he said that after a-month-and-a-half after the surgical strikes in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, India has lost 16 Army men, six BSF jawans and 10 civilians in firing.

The BSP supremo also dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold fresh elections to know the people's view on demonetisation.

I want to tell Prime Minister Narendra Modi that if you really are an honest man and want a correct survey and if you have guts, then dissolve the Parliament and hold fresh elections.
Mayawati

However, she later added that her party was not against the Centre's demonetisation of high-value currency notes, but was opposed to the way it was implemented.

We are not against the demonetisation move at all, but the manner in which it was implemented that affected poor people

“The money that Mayawatiji has with her, she should donate to the poor and marginalised,” Union Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister Uma Bharti told reporters outside the Parliament.

She advised the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief to "go to Tibet and preach Buddhism there".

Bharti also slammed Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for his criticism of demonetisation and said:

Rahulji should go to Thailand and enjoy his vacations there, instead of wasting Parliament’s time.
