JeM Terrorist Killed in J&K’s Anantnag Encounter Was a Pakistani

One militant killed, three trapped in an encounter between security forces and militants in Anantnag’s Kokernag.

At least one militant has been killed and three trapped in an encounter between security forces and militants in Anantnag's Kokernag, reported ANI.

One JeM militant who was killed is of Pakistani nationality, ANI reported. Huge quantity of ammunition and incriminating material have been seized from the site of encounter. The news agency also reported that the militant had been involved in several attacks on security forces and civilians in the area.

J&K DGP SP Vaid tweeted that four hideoutes were identified out of which 2 were destroyed.

Encounter was going on in kukernag area of Anantnag, reportedly presence of 2/3 terrorists, firing stopped , search is on.
