The father of a woman, who was gang-raped and murdered, died in a road accident on Yamuna Expressway with his family members claiming foul play.
He was riding a motorcycle when an unknown vehicle hit him, killing him on the spot.
His relatives have lodged a case against a village head and seven others. They alleged that the relatives of the rape-and-murder case accused have killed the man.
The pillion rider sustained injuries in the accident, police said, adding that they would question him later.
On May 9, a minor girl was gang-raped and set on fire in Jewar area. She later died of burns. Police had arrested four persons in this connection and sent them to jail.
