India’s most wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew is get married in a royal fashion.
According to Times of India, Dawood will be ‘virtually’ witnessing the wedding via Skype.
Alishah, who is the son of Dawood’s deceased sister, Haseena Parkar is set to marry Mumbai-based businessman Shiraj Ali Mohammed Nagani’s daughter Ayesha, on Tuesday, Mid Day reported.
Haseena’s daughter who had gotten married in 2015, had a low-key wedding since it was only a year after Haseena’s death. But to make up for it, Alishah’s wedding is going to be a particularly gala affair.
Sources said told the Mid Day that the nikah will take place at 11 am at Rasool Masjid in Nagpada. After that the star event, that is the wedding reception or daawat-e-walima will be held at Tulip Star Hotel’s Harbour Hall.
A senior police officer said that over a dozen police in plainclothes will be keeping an eye on the proceedings of the event in Mumbai to watch out for any underworld criminal who might be on the guest list.
Times of India quoted an officer as saying:
We will keep a watch as there is a possibility of rival gangsters trying to disturb the peace.
